UFO 'Ball of Lightning' Orb - Canmore, Alberta - May 21, 2011

This is the first time that I’ve seen and managed to film this red/orange/green/blue Orb for such a long period of time. The best I can describe it is that it was like a contained ball of multicolor lightning. It appeared, I noticed, began filming with my Panasonic HDC-TM700 HD camera mounted to my Velbon video tripod and then it disappeared. About to pack it in and call it a night; it came back suddenly and I continued recording. It was very bright, barely moved and was hovering VERY low around the houses here. I pulled back the video frame a little so you could see the entire picture without thinking I’m super-zoomed in or something. This time round, it looked like a ball of electrical energy. Anyone else here in Canmore see anything like this over the long-weekend?
